Hedonism: The ancient Greek word for ‘pleasure’. It is widely believed that the Greek philosopher Socrates started this idea by introducing ethical hedonism to people. Pleasure at the highest good surpassing any pain they were feeling. It was and still is a way of life and its devotees have nothing to feel bad about.
