She Be a Poet – I Wander

Walking with no destination, just to pass the time,

Be at one with nature, slippery mud and rainfall combine.

Trees are swaying, swooning over the sun,

She breaks between storm clouds with a shy expression

“Catch me if you can, hon”.

She Be a Poet – The Social Distance Blues

I haven’t hugged a soul for weeks, or called them ‘Darling’, that’s their name

The Social distance blues are real and shitty who’s to blame?

Daily mindful mantras start with hashtag please #bekind

Wander in woods my therapy, leafy footsteps chakras aligned

Netflix is my closest friend, on-screen pleasures, hidden gems

Cover me in popcorn son of Uhtred, Viking trends

HIIT I breathe in fresher air, mother earth environment bliss

Round and round she goes, sun-kissed

She spins

She keeps on spinning.
