Divine acceptance with the Almighty mind

While yet o deed ungenerous they disgrace

And hold in bondage Afric: blameless race

Let virtue reign and then accord our prayers

Be victory ours and generous freedom theirs’.

Give me a word, any word and I will show you the root of that word is Greek…

Nike: The Greek Goddess of victory had an admirable strength and was able to run at surprising speed. With her victory wings, she was able to fly to battlefields where she presented the victorious with a wreath of laurel leaves. Whether in brutal combat or peaceful competition, Nike had the spirit to face both.
